LEFT - RIGHT

The project “Left-right” is influenced by the diary developed during intuitive strategies course at ArtEZ Master of Fashion Strategy. “Left-right” is an approach to present my own body and identity, which could be used in the future as the strategy/example to represent disabled bodies playfully.

Diary

Diary

“Left-right” is a continuing diary, which is a practice and process of learning to write with my right hand for the first time. This diary involves personal character traits which were changing and sometimes repeating during the period of the project. In the end, these traits were organised and became a metaphor helping to design three pairs of gloves: “Hardworking”, “Loving” and “Creative” which at the same time represents the identity and the body.

Experience

Experience

The viewers were asked to try gloves, in this way experiencing the body and identity of the author. Moreover, to get an in-depth sensation, the viewers were invited to play a simple clapping game and lose himself/herself in the rhythm and movement.

Playful Integration

Playful Integration

My body became the narrative and foundation of playful integration strategy of the disabled body. Fashion and the game are tools allowing to create an appealing and contemporary experience without producing sentimentalism. Project “Left-right” became a backbone for the project “Loop collaboration studio”.
